Visa and Travel Authorization
Conference participants from most countries will be required to obtain a visa to enter China. Conference participants can apply for a Chinese visa through a travel agency or directly at local Chinese embassy or consulate. For attending conference, one can apply for either a tourist visa (Visa L) or a business visa (Visa F). Conference participants should check the visa requirements well in advance. The Chinese Visa Application Service Centre at local Chinese embassy or consulate provides helpful information on how to apply for a Chinese visa.The W2GIS organizers encourage participants to apply for their visas as early as possible. Participants that will need a confirmation letter that mention attendance at W2GIS can send an email to the local organisor Prof Tianzhen Wang at the Shanghai Maritime University: tzwang@shmtu.edu.cn
